MiniM Database Server support internal telnet server to handle telnet connections.

By default telnet server runs on standard telnet port 23, and this setting can be overwriten. Administrator can enable or disable start telnet server.

Telnet port is listen by internal MiniM Windows service independently from running other MiniM processes. While service accept external tcp/ip connection to specified port new MiniM process runs with this connection.

All other interaction with telnet client handled by runned child process. Child process has TNT principal device. All read and write command send bytes between process and telnet client.

Telnet applications is very important many years. Many telnet implementations can handle special telnet and custom extended escape sequences. For example, to color symbols. This is client possibilities. To make user applications using telnet, developers need to select one or several telnet client implementations.

By default, MiniM Database Server contains popup menu of tray icon with command to run default Windows telnet program, telnet.exe.
